When I knew I was going down south somewhere on the coast, i started amassing images from tourist destinations, an internet overload of slick ideal photoshopped paradises. Unable to reconcile the souped-up images with a location I could imagine living, I began collaging and embellishing tropical destinations even more over the top than what I could find online.
The culmination of this fictional climate was a virtual show at anti-immersive gallery, programmed by its founder, Melissa Krok-horton. The over the top works were complimented by an ocean floor and faux-sky ceiling. The show is view-able here:
